So, I am not one that is really into politics and all that shit! But last night I was at the urgent care center ( tooth issues) and I was in the waiting room and there was something on the news about Global Warming. They were going on about the term "Global Warming" and they were saying if it were called something different people would care about it more.
At this point I am already thinking OMG! Then they proceed to say that there was a vote done on 20 important topics and everyone that voted thought that Global Warming was #20, therefore they believed that this was the least important topic that our society faces.
Ok, so here is were I was shocked, do they really think that health care, gay marriage and abortion is going to matter when we have no planet to live on, therefore no people, therefore no damn issues!!! Ummm HELLO!
I understand that there are important issues that we face, but I would assume that the place that we live would be of top concern. I think what it is, is that people think well it won't happen in their life time, but who cares, we need our planet. No matter what people call it, is should be veiwed as very important.
It's our responsibility to do whatever we can do to help this situation. I mean haven't we been selfish enough, to even get us to this point??? Everyone is guilty and I am just pissed about the utter disregard for this topic, because they do not like the damn name! How about this assholes, it's not longer "Global Warming" it's officially "We are all going to burn and die!"
