It's always fun to wake up and come to work on a Friday... get jacked up on coffee, and then see that someone is giving you a shot-out on their blog!! So, as this Friday starts, yup I am only an hour in, I have to give a shot out to @mattstraton on twitter and his blog....

Share the love! I am so freakin happy that it is Friday and I am getting ready for my vacation to the beach a week from today... I am sure I will have much to say since I will be driving into Mrytle Beach during a bike week, yup oh shit. Hopefully my girls are asleep because mommy's potty mouth will be in full swing!
Yes, I am a road rager... I will cuss and talk shit till I am out of breath, maybe that is the growing up in South Florida thing... then you move someone where in BFE (Bum Fuck Egypt) like here and you are on a two lane road behind a huge tractor going 20 MPH, imagine my mouth then!!
Look I am already road raging sitting at my desk ... oh shit!! I am not even going to get on the topic of men today, after my issues last night... I am tucking the bitchy-ness away, yes I am, and I want a f*%$ing gold star for it!!

I am so excited! I have finally set a vacation, next weekend, I am off to Mrytle Beach, and I am excited. I am over-joyed to spend some relaxing time by the ocean. It's is so very Zen at the beach. I have always been able to truly veg out.
This will be the first time both of my girls have went to the beach with me, and I am truly so excited about this vacation. I will be so anxious until next week, I will probably drive myself completely crazy!
The photos will be great, and hopefully people can live through my vacation and everything that I will post about it! Time to do all the basics, get my oil changed, buy a new bathing suit, lol!! if I close my eyes real tight I can sense the smell of sun tan oil and the heat on the sand!!! Yeah!!!!

Welcome to the Poultry Festival
(You like that intro from my Daughter and Niece, don't you!!)
Ok so.... I went, and I saw no chickens! Nothing related to poultry ... the closest thing to a damn animal were the pony rides. There were $5.00 funnel cakes and $5.00 Lemonades, and I spent $20.00 within 10 minutes, but I was let down because I am not sure why they would advertise a mascot that had absolutely nothing to do with anything.
So, I guess that left for an unexciting blog... but I still took pictures... so I will share.
(Now I can say that in all the Fairs I have been too, this is the first that had a mechanical bull.... and my children wanted me to get on it, UMMMMM NO! HAHA!)
So while I was disappointed that I couldn't be amused by chicken, and confused as why they didn't even serve chicken to eat, I was relieved that I did not have to smell chicken shit, (uhhh what a horrific smell that is!)
The ride to the festival, now that was interesting! A ride that would normally take 45 minutes, took us over two hours... I was driving and following Daniel's directions, we had 3 girls in the back, my daughters who are 6 and 2 1/2 and our niece who is 5. (At least they were good sports!) All I kept hearing was yeah, all this looks familiar, yeah we are going the right way. (Um, yeah right!!) All in all it is something we can laugh at, and plus on the way home we went the right way!! :-D
I had fun, and intend to go again next year, but I am wondering if there was something with the chickens on one of the previous days, since I went on the last day in the evening, could I have possibly went too late and missed the chicken events? ..... to be continued (2010 - the 24th Annual Poultry Festival).

I have nothing exciting going on... and nothing to really bitch about either, except that I only have one loyal follower, haha... so let's not bore her! Ok wait I do have something I can bitch about and I am not going to go there, because that topic might just ruin my day!!!!
It's Friday, and I can relax this weekend, and I am looking forward to it. Plan on baking in the sun and going to a poultry festival, yeah I said it, and are you thinking WTF is a Poultry Festival, I hope you are because I sure the hell am thinking WTF. Like what goes on at a Poultry Festival? IDK, here's the thing I am a city girl trapped in the country. Help me!
My fiance is bragging how awesome this thing is and that there are rides and fireworks, and it's pretty big, which sounds great, but where does poultry come in? How are chickens involved... will they be there? Do we eat them? I mean at least it is not a "swine festival" because right now that would be pretty scary, right?
So I guess I am now obligated to take pictures at the chicken fest!! Forget spring break... chicken fest here I come... wow, someone help me, it is so time to move... OMG, culture shocks keep coming and I would think after some years I would adjust!
Never, I refuse to ever adjust to this, it's not normal!!!
I will update you on chickens gone wild.... wish me luck!
